This week is International Stress Awareness Week and today is National Stress Awareness Day in the UK.
Stress is something we all deal with from time to time and it can cause great anxiety. It’s essential to realise what it is that is making you stressed and find ways to manage it, as this can be detrimental to your mental health. There are many ways to release stress which including doing exercise, meditation, doing something crafty, journaling, going on a walk, baking etc. The list is endless and you should find something that works best for you.
As important as it to find ways to release your stress, it’s key to not ignore the cause, and try to deal with that first. If you can’t deal with it on your own, talk to somebody who can help you. Don’t let the stress build-up and please, don’t suffer alone.
As always, I encourage you to please look after yourself and your wellbeing. Don’t let stress take over your life and have the courage to tell somebody when you’re struggling!
